Zonal Executive Officer (ZEO)

Zonal Executive officer (ZEO) of the corporation shall be appointed by the Government.

The Zonal Executive Officer is the supervising authority for controlling all works in respective Zone.

Specific Functions :

Marriage Separation

Wither of husband or the wife (if she has been delegated the power of divorce) can sent a letter to the Chairman (ZEO), Reconciliation Council, DNCC stating pronouncement of “Talak” (Divorce). After receiving date of the letter of “Talak” (Divorce) a reconciliation came be started with a specific number. Both the parties are notice by post at list three times to attend the “Salish Parishad”. Observing the all legal provisions the “Talak” (divorce) be settled after 90 days or before the expiration of the said duration if the parties concerned consent to make compromise to hold the family life, the case be disposed of with an order of compromise and thus the Divorce be withdrawn.

Re-Marriage

Permission for 2nd Marriage in present the first wife, an application should be submitted for the purpose to the Chairman (ZEO) Reconciliation Council along with a deposited “Challan” of Tk. 25/- as process fee. A separate Miscellaneous Case be registered both the parties are notice to attend the “Salish Parishad” and several sittings be held to settle the matter. Considering the adequate grounds, the permission for second marriage is allowed.

An application form for permission of second marriage in presence of first wife Tk. 25/- 1/3 of US Dollar (App.) shall be paid through prescribed “Challan” as process fee.

Public Toilet

Public toilet maintenance, lease out and management are done by respective Zonal Executive Officer.

New Holding Number, Holding Separation, Assessment

ZEO is the approval authority for new holding number, holding separation, assessment etc.
